Aeronautical Beacons - REIL light L849-LXS

A series of five "ODALS" L859-LXS omnidirectional beacons, in combination with two "REIL" L849-LXS omnidirectional beacons, are used to help the pilot to identify which track he must land on.

The L-849-LXS beacons are placed at the edges of the landing strip and completes the sequence of the L-859-LXS beacons. It flashes simultaneously after the flashing of the last 859 beacon.
