The private hospital of Olbia, financed by Qatar Foundation Endowment and Italian foundation "Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli" has been inaugurated beginning 2019.
The "Mater Olbia" will offers a total of 242 beds available to residents in Sardinia and will contain a large department of neurological sciences, the stroke unit, or intensive care for cerebral haemorrhagic ischemic events, a Neurosurgery and a Rehabilitation, a centre for cancer for woman and adult, a diabetes centre and the most innovative and effective technology for radiotherapy.
