Heathrow Airport is the major international airport in London and is the second busiest in the world by international passenger traffic. In 2018, it handled a record 80.1 million passengers. Heathrow lies 31km west of Central London, has two parallel runways along with four operational terminals and is the primary hub for British Airways and the primary operating base for Virgin Atlantic.
In 2019 LUXSOLAR has provided for the airport its LED Low Intensity Obstruction Lights (LIOL) Group A type (10cd red steady during night mode), in full compliance with CAP168 regulation (UK regulation on Aircraft Warning Lights).
