Heliport Approach Light "HAL-LXS-SB" (steady burning type) is use where it is necessary to indicate a preferred approach direction, shall be located in a straight line along to preferred direction of approach.
Approach Light System (steady burning type) consists of 3 lights install just beyond the line of the FATO area and these lights are used to indicate the correct way to follow. When due to high light pollution or when the competent authorities consider that the only approach light system is not enough, this is integrated by the flashing approach light system HAL-LXS-FL.
