Saudi Aramco is the Saudi national hydrocarbon company (the name comes from the contraction of Arabian American Oil Company).
With a production of more than 10 million barrels a day, Saudi Aramco is among the largest oil companies in the world and the most important financier of the Saudi government, being 100% owned by the latter.
