LA PEPA BRIDGE

The bridge "Puente de la Constitución de 1812" (also known as the bridge "La Pepa") is the last bridge inaugurated in Andalusia. The construction of the bridge began in 2008 and ended in 2015 and today is the bridge with the most clear light in Spain (540 meters), third by type in Europe after the Normandy Bridge (light of 856 meters) and the Rio-Antirio Bridge (three lights of 560 meters). The bridge has a total length of 3.092 meters, 1.440 of which above the water and the towers that support the ties have a height of 185 meters each.

For this project, LUXSOLAR was asked to install red fixed night-time Aircraft Obstruction Lights, MIOL-C (2.000cd), that were placed on the two pylons that support the tie-rods.
